Winter Movies and Snacks for You to Enjoy!

If you have not already guessed- I love movies, almost as much as I love recommending them! It is so fun curating movies to a particular criteria so what’s a better time to recommend some winter movies that have nothing to do with Christmas? Even more so, I’ll pair each movie with the most appropriate TPL offering, based solely on the ~vibe~.

The first movie that came to mind when compiling this list is Narnia (2005), a movie I grew up watching and associating with the start of the chilly seasons. To this day, I am always searching for the perfect replica of the Turkish delight Edmund ate in the movie. This leads me to the most logical TPL offering to pair with the movie, being our funnel cakes! If there ever were a sweet treat to make you a double agent to an evil snow queen-...it would obviously be funnel cakes.

Speaking of childhood movies, I can’t mention the winter and not mention Ice Age (2002). I just know the endearing collection of animals would want a variety of things, and would probably argue with each other until finally settling on an ice cream sundae bar with all the possible toppings and add-ons. I know Scrat the squirrel would lose his mind over adding peanuts and I can see the leader Manny would love all the crushed candy bar options.

The next movie I thought of was one of my favorite Chris Evans movies- Snowpiercer (2013). You may expect me to say snow cones, but no that would be cruel... This is why I would give that offering to everyone BUT the residents of the caboose. They deserve a full Grilled Catering package with a hotdog, hamburger, chips, and drink per serving- it’s only right!

Happy Feet (2006) is one of those childhood movies that I wish everyone grew up on. The best TPL treat for the happy feet of the main character Mumble, would have to be popcorn. He would love the way kernels danced to their own beat in the machine, just like him! I also think that the rest of the Emperor penguins would thoroughly enjoy our fried Oreos and how they matched outfits.

Blades of Glory (2007), without a doubt, has to be a part of this list. I think it really rounds out the various movies I’ve mentioned so far. The choice of TPL offering is essentially already made as Katie and Jimmy awkwardly enjoy some sno cones on the rink. I can see Chazz enjoying a toasty soft pretzel, indignantly of course.

And with that, I leave you with the Fire and Ice routine to start the week - > Blades of Glory (7/12) Best Movie Quote - Fire and Ice Routine (2007)
